The Series 400 E plane and Series 410 H plane matched tees are constructed from precision machined sections accurately assembled to form the completed component. H plane tees, when fed via the shunt arm, divide the signal equally between the through ports and in phase. When E plane tees are fed via the series arm the signal divides equally but 180˚ out of phase.
